Saturday afternoon and the choice of an interesting activity is just about limitless. One of my favourite pastimes on a summer's afternoon is browsing through a brocante market -- such as the one presented in Lalinde on 19 July. Not only are there good quality old and interesting items for sale -- anything from the head of a Kalahari bush pig to a delicate lace and sequin dress dating back to the Thirties. And then there are the people who man the stalls and who are your fellow browsers ........
